Drugs and Alcohol

Alcohol is sociable and will not damage your health in small quantities. More information about acceptable quantities is available at the  drinkaware website.

Drugs are never good! If you feel you have a problem with drugs or alcohol any of the Doctors at the Surgery will be happy to discus things with you. Local help for Drugs & Alcohol is available through:

Diabeties

A full diabetic check with the eye camera is offered to all diabetic patients on an annual basis. This is organised by the Diabetic Retinal screening Department and they hold clinics at the surgery throughout the year. We have a diabetic trained nurse, Vikki, who will be happy to discuss any questions you may have regarding diabetes.

Chronic Disease

Coronary Heart Disease (CHD), Epilepsy, hypertension, stroke and mental health clinics are run on a regular basis by recall system and patients will be contacted and asked to make an appointment.

Asthma and COPD

We offer an annual review to anyone with asthma via a recall system and more frequently if your asthma is not well controlled. Please contact Reception if you wish to make an appointment.

Antenatal Clinics

Antenatal clinics are held at Paulton Hospital. These are important as they ensure that the mother and her baby are progressing well.
