Ordering Repeat Prescriptions
The easiest ways to order repeat prescriptions are:
- using your NHS account (through the NHS website or in the NHS App)
- using the GP online system: SystmOnline
These accounts show you all your repeat medicine and dosage and you can choose the ones you need.
You can also:
- fill out a repeat prescriptions request form
- bring the paper form to the surgery, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6.30pm
- telephone the repeat prescription line on 01761 479105
We do not take repeat prescription requests through email.
Collecting Your Prescription
You can usually collect your prescription from your nominated pharmacy 2 working days after you have ordered it.
Nominated Pharmacy
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) lets your doctor send your prescription straight to a pharmacy you choose. This means you do not have to come to the surgery for a paper form.
How to choose your pharmacy:
- Use the NHS App or website
- Ask your pharmacy to set it up
- Tell us, and we can update it for you
You can change your pharmacy anytime, but prescriptions you already ordered may still go to your old one.
Dispensing Arrangements
The practice can give medicine directly to patients who live more than one mile from a chemist. Please allow 2 working days from ordering to collection. If you order at the weekend, your medicine will be ready on Wednesday.
This service is only for patients who register as dispensing patients when they join the practice or move house.
We can also safely get rid of unwanted or expired medicine. Please give it to our dispenser.
Questions About Your Prescription

They can also help you choose medicines you can buy without a prescription.
